Etruria, Caeretan Hydria - "Return of Hephaestus": A young, crippled Hephaestos rides a mule towards Dionysus. Dionysus is holding a kantharos in one hand and a leopard cub in the other. A maenad with a snake follows Hephaestus. the painting also includes a satyre playing the aulod, not seen here. (6th century BC)
