Cyprus, Paphos, House of Aion - Mosaic panel depicting a Dionysian procession, with young Dionysus riding a cart pulled by two centaurs with a lyre and flutes in their hands. A nude maenad carrying a quiver leads the procession. A young satyr (Skirtos) brings Dionysus fruit on a tray. Tropheus follows riding on a mule. A torch bearer once stood befind the centaurs, but only his hand has been preserved (4th century AD).
