A rare bronze statue of a kouros from the archaeic era, probably dating from the 6th or 5th century BC. The statue is commonly identified as Apollo. It was discovered in 1959 together with later sculptures such as Artemis of Piraeus and Athena of Piraeus (available in this collection).
