Greece, Athens - National Archaeological Museum - Statue of a Sphinx. Island marble. Found in Athens, in the Kerameikos, built into the Themistokleian wall. It was originally set atop a grave stele. Product of an Attic workshop. (ca. mid 6th century BC)
