The remains consist of the northern part of the ancient town and part of the defensive wall dating from the 13th century BC. Habitation continued down to the Hellenistic period. The artifacts from the excavations of the area are kept in the Larnaka District Museum. In the site there are several ancient temples, including a sanctuary of the goddess of fertility (13th century BC) and a Temple of Astartre (9th century BC), and a castle from the 14th century.
