Tindari (81 pictures, 4 videos)
Tindari, founded in the 4th century BC, is an area at the western end of the bay between Cape Tindari and the Cape of Milasso. We can still see substantial remains of the walls. The Greek theater dates from the 4th century BC. Near a vaulted structure, probably a monumental entrance porch, is a vast block of buildings on several levels. The lower levels contain the remains of Roman houses and shops, and the upper –remains of 2nd century Baths.
