Lefkadia (12 pictures, 1 videos)
The four Macedonian Tombs of Lefkadia are set in a quiet agricultural area. The first of these is the Tomb of the Judges, or the Great Tomb. This, the largest tomb, with a chamber 9m square and a frescoed facade portraying Aiakos and Rhadamanthys, the Judges of Hades, has been recently restored. Beyond is the Anthemion Tomb, or Tomb of the Flowers, with well-preserved flower paintings on the roof. The third tomb is the Tomb of Lyson and Kallikles, and the fourth is Kinch's Tomb, named after its Danish discoverer.
