The city is located 5km west of Cine. An ancient government building (bouleuterion) is located to the north of the city. A theater was found at the side of a hill in the north of the city. It was constructed in the Hellenistic period (4th-1st centuries BC), and had been used, with changes, all through the Roman and Byzantine periods (1st century BC – 7th century AD).
