Cyprus (2310 pictures, 96 videos)

Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean and is located in the northeast corner of the basin. The archaeological finds in Cyprus go back to the Neolithic period (7,000-5,800 BC) (Choirokoitia). The island was one of the first placed reached by Christianity, with the arrival of St. Barnabas. Later it served as a station for the Crusaders and attracted noble settlers.
