Seleucia Piera (74 pictures, 3 videos)

The city was founded by Seleucus to be his kingdom's capital in 305 BC, but later it became the harbor of Antioch. A Temple to Zeus is situated on top of the hill of the upper city. It was the biggest temple in the city. The Tunnel of Titus and Vespasian was made to protect the harbor from floods coming down from Mose's Mountain. East of the tunnel is the Cradle Cave, with many graves inside.
