Antas Valley (40 pictures)

Antas Valley is located about 10 km from Fluminimaggiore. The site features the Omonym Temple, dedicated to the God Sardus Pater, quarries and a Nuragic village. The temple, whose remains include the walls, some columns and partial mosaics, was built between the 27 BC and 14 AD on a calcareous breakthrough around which was built a sacellum. Inside stands an altar, that consisted of a big rock delimited by walls of mud and stone.
