Knossos (Crete) (238 pictures)

Knossos is the most important archaeological site in Crete, the home of the legendary King Minos and the Labyrinth designed by Daedalus .The most attractive and striking sights in the site are the fruit of intentional reconstruction. In the palace the king's and queen's megarons and the Throne Room can be seen. Also found in the site are three large sunken grain silos.
