The remains of Anamurium city are near the city Anamur on the south coast of the Anatolia peninsula. The settlement was first seen in the 4th century BC. The cemetery outside the city walls contains 350-400 tombs. This necropolis area and is very well preserved and features sarcophagus rooms, visiting areas and more. Other finds include an aqueduct, an odeon, bathhouses and a palaestra.
