Ephesus (713 pictures, 19 videos)

The city of Ephesus was first established in the 7th century BC on the shore of the bay where the Cayster River falls into the sea and on the slopes of Mt. Pion. Among the noticeable structures in the site are: the Arch of Triumph (3rd century BC), the aqueduct (4-14 AD) and the Temple of Domitian (81-96 AD). From the 2nd century AD remained traces of the odeon, theater, library, Trajan's fountain, and the Temple of Hadrian.
