Lyrbe (Seleukeia) is one of Pamphylia Region's antique cities, located on a mountain 23km to the northeast of Side. On Roman coins (30 BC - 395 AD) are shown the holy stone and holy tree, old Anatolian traditions. From this we learn that the city was founded during the Hellenistic period (330-30 BC), before the Seleucids re-established it.
