The site is located 30km north of Silifke. It was originally the Zeus cult center, and became a Roman city-state in 72 AD. Findings in this site include the Temple of Zeus Olbius (3rd century BC), a Hellenistic tower, a colonnaded street, a Roman theater surrounded by a Holy Road, the Temple of Tyche (Fortuna) (1st century AD), a gateway, a mausoleum, a monumental arch and a nymphaeum.
