The site is located 22km from Denizli. The Temple of Apollo was constructed in the 3rd century BC. The theater in the site, from the 2nd century AD, is one of the best preserved of the great theaters of Asia Minor. The monumental nymphaeum was constructed in the end of the second century AD. Other finds in the site are the necropolis, the Roman baths, the Arch of Domitian and the main street. The site was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.
